Staff Facilities

Staying in Our Camps

We offer comfortable facilities that include shaded camping areas for our BackPackers with space for tenting, trailers, or vans. We provide common kitchen areas, hot showers, private toiletslaundry facilities, common area with games/movies, and a variety of employee events throughout the season. Each camp features a large walk in fridge with individual locking compartments for staff. Safe drinking water and ice is supplied.

Backpackers work from approximately July 20 – Aug 31. If you have received your acceptance of employment (first of all, welcome!), then you can reserve a campsite for $250.00.

Unfortunately, we cannot host individuals in our accommodations who are not actively employed with us.

Home Farm

Lake Country

Our Home Farm Camp is located in Lake Country, walking distance to beaches on Okanagan Lake. It offers shady campsites, covered common areas, and spots to park your van or trailer. Wifi access is available. It also has an adjacent parking lot for those bringing vehicles. This camp houses around 150 pickers during our season.

Staff staying at Home Farm will do a large portion of their picking on site, all within walking distance of the camp. However, throughout the season there will be days where it is necessary for us to bus our Home Farm picking staff to other orchard sites in the valley, allowing us to keep up with the maturity of the fruit.

Cholla Hills

Vernon

Located in a remote forested area about a 30 minutes from Vernon is our Cholla Hills campsite. This site provides space for about 80 staff during the harvest season. Centrally located within of the cherry blocks at Cholla Hills, this camp area is also within driving distance to public beaches on Okanagan and Kalamalka Lake. Limited wifi access is available.

Dorms

Temporary Foreign Workers, Supervisory Staff, Team Leaders

We provide dormitory accommodations for our temporary foreign workers, supervisory staff, and team leaders. We have single or double rooms with common washrooms, shower and kitchen facilities. Wifi access is available.

Getting Around

Enjoy All That The Okanagan Offers

Most of our orchard and dormitory sites are not located within walking distance of city centres or public transportation access. We provide free, weekly bus transportation to staff staying with us in order to access grocery shopping and local services. When applying, indicate whether or not you will have your own vehicle so we can best accommodate you with us.

Our new packing facility is located on Highway 97 with access to public transit and plenty of staff parking.
