ETHICS

In our continued pursuit of producing superior quality cherries, we also instil the same efforts into conducting our business with moral responsibility, ethical decision making and an unwavering focus on safety.

We operate with a Code of Ethics and Business Conduct policy, to which all of our employees, management, and leadership are subject. This code includes:

  • Our Principles and Values

  • Ethical, and Value-Driven Decision-Making

  • Commitments to Sustainability and Innovation

  • Fair Labour Practices and Working Conditions

  • A Commitment to Upholding and Protecting Human Rights

  • Fostering a Culture of Safety

  • And more

Furthermore, we know that forced and child labour still exists in modern supply chains. That is why we are committed to verifying that our suppliers do not participate in those practices through our implemented supplier approval programs.

In 2024, the Government of Canada brought into effect the Fighting Against Forced Labour and Child Labour in Supply Chains Act, which sets out reporting requirements for Canadian businesses of certain size and revenues. Jealous Fruits Ltd meets this reporting requirement, and wholeheartedly supports the measures that are now enacted to fight against modern slavery in global supply chains.
