We experienced a significant increase in production in 2011 from our high elevation farm. The crop was over 600 tons, up from 50 in 2010 and with excellent fruit quality. New plantings at Cholla Hills for next year are 15 acres of Sentennial which will be our latest ripening variety.

State of the art optical cherry sorter arrives!
June 2, 2011
Our UNITEC optical cherry sorter arrived at our farm in May in nine ocean containers. Installation has begun and the process is expected to take two weeks to complete. We are on track to begin testing in early June. Initial feedback received from our customers is very positive in regards to the UNITEC sorter and many are making plans to see the UNITEC hard at work this season. Having the ability to further customize orders by specifying colour will further set our cherries apart in the market place.
New planting at Cholla Hills
June 2, 2011
Planting for this season is now complete at our high elevation farm. Up at Cholla we have planted Regina which characteristically is a very firm, great keeping cherry. As the Regina variety can be difficult to bring into bearing we have planted our Reginas on a dwarfing Gisela root stock, and planted three different pollinator selections intensively throughout the orchard. We expect our first Reginas to be available in 2013. The average availability dates will be in the August 15th to 20th period. A test block of Stardust was also planted and we will keep you posted on that variety.

The brand will be introduced in select worldwide markets in mid to late summer 2008.
