As everyone is likely aware, temperatures in May and June have been unseasonably cool. This has modified our earlier forecast, and we are now projecting a similar start date to last season, of approximately July 9th to 11th.

The weather this past week has improved markedly with daytime highs of 25 to 26 C, and plenty of bright sunshine. The forecast for the next ten days is predominantly sunny, with temperatures climbing slightly through the period. Perfect cherry weather!!

Volume availability of our early varieties is relatively light this year with only a 60% crop. The good news is our main volume varieties starting July 23rd (Lapins, Sweetheart, and Staccato) have all set nice crops and close to full volume availability is expected.
